Weddings at Mansions on Fifth feel less like booking a ballroom and more like taking over a historic Fifth Avenue estate. With soaring wood-beamed ceilings, dark walnut paneling, grand fireplaces and leaded glass windows, the Mansions create a backdrop that looks and feels like a private residence celebration – not a hotel function.
When you host your wedding here, your event lives inside the Mansion. From the first champagne pour to the last song of the night, your celebration moves naturally through our parlours, library and dining rooms with no generic corridors or shared hotel spaces. Most couples host both ceremony and reception on-site, keeping guests in one beautiful, walkable setting in the heart of Shadyside.
The Mansions can accommodate wedding celebrations from about 20 guests for an intimate dinner to larger receptions of up to 180, depending on the style of your event and the spaces you select.
Wedding Packages
To keep planning straightforward, Mansions on Fifth offers a curated collection of per-guest wedding packages built around our most-requested styles of celebration. Each package is designed to combine venue, cuisine, bar service and staffing into one cohesive experience, with an estate minimum that secures private use of the property for your event.
Our current offerings include:
- Cocktail Reception Package — Ideal for couples who want a relaxed, social evening with passed hors d’oeuvres, elevated stations and plenty of time for conversation and mingling throughout the Mansion’s parlours and public rooms.
- Grand Package — A classic, four-hour reception with a full dinner service, premium bar and all of the essentials you’d expect for a traditional wedding in a historic estate setting.
- Gold Package — Our most inclusive offering, layering in upgraded menu options, enhancements and amenities for couples who want a more expansive, all-in experience for themselves and their guests.
- McCook Package (Seasonal) — Available during select winter and early spring dates, this package is tailored to cooler-weather weddings that take full advantage of the Mansion’s fireplaces, rich interiors and softer seasonal pricing.
- Summer Solstice Package (Seasonal) — A warm-weather option designed for late spring and summer dates, perfect for capturing long evenings, golden-hour photos on the grounds and a lighter, brighter seasonal menu.

Friday & Sunday Weddings
Friday and Sunday weddings have become increasingly popular at Mansions on Fifth, and for good reason. These dates often offer greater flexibility on availability, more choice for couples on a shorter planning timeline, and a more relaxed pace for the weekend. Many clients use the surrounding days to host welcome drinks, farewell brunches or additional time with out-of-town guests.
In many cases, Friday and Sunday weddings also benefit from more approachable estate minimums or adjusted package pricing, while still including the same attentive service, cuisine and historic spaces that define a Saturday celebration.

Creative Receptions & Stations
Not every couple wants a traditional sit-down dinner. Many of our weddings at Mansions on Fifth now feature chef-attended stations and roaming small plates in place of, or alongside, a plated meal. Stations allow guests to explore the Mansion, sample a variety of dishes, and build the evening at their own pace.
Our culinary team can design station menus that reflect your tastes — from carved meats and seasonal pastas to regional specialties and late-night bites. Paired cocktail stations and signature drinks can be added to match your menu, your story or the season.
