Mansions on Fifth by Priory Hospitality Group Cares
The Priory Hospitality Group has, over the years, been proud to have hosted, participated, sponsored and supported in a wide variety of charitable events and causes. Much as our businesses are unique, grown from the buildings and areas they occupy – we at the Priory Hospitality Group view ourselves as woven into the greater fabric of the community. As such, we see it as an important part of our mission to support our neighborhoods and the people who live within them through sponsorships, gifts, hosting events and the giving of our time and talents.
Some examples of our partnering with organizations to benefit others, both here in Pittsburgh and abroad, include:
Winter White Wedding® Giveaway: From 2008 through 2014, when President Obama declared a cessation of hostilities in Afghanistan, we sponsored a drawing each year to award one of our Winter White Wedding® receptions to a veteran or active duty service member who is serving or had served in Iraq or Afghanistan. The purpose of this giveaway was to honor and recognize the sacrifices of all who have served in those war zones and their families, and hopefully to remind others of those sacrifices. In addition to providing a full reception at no cost to the winning couple, we recruited other service providers to provide their talents and goods free of charge, including the bride’s wedding dress, wedding rings, photography, formal wear, hair styling and disc jockey. Our intention was to provide a fully formed wedding reception for the lucky couple. It was our honor and pleasure to do this, and to recognize the sacrifices of our members of the armed services and their families.
Team Tassy: We have been honored to host and sponsor a variety of fundraising events for Team Tassy, including its signature Blackjack Spectacular each October. Team Tassy’s aim is to break the cycle of poverty in the poorest neighborhoods in Port au Prince, Haiti by working with families to stabilize their economic status and ultimately to find members’ family-sustaining jobs. Over a five year period, Priory Hospitality Group has assisted Team Tassy in raising more than $150,000 in support of its mission.
Homeless Children’s Education Fund: With more than 800 children in Allegheny County homeless at any one time, the Homeless Children’s Education Fund seeks to ensure that those children receive equal access to educational assets during their period of homelessness. The Priory has been proud to sponsor and host HCEF with a wide variety of events, including hosting its annual “Food Truck Throwdown” fundraiser each July.
Three Rivers Rowing Association: The Priory has partnered for the past seven years with Three Rivers Rowing Association to host its annual Winetasting Bash each March. With more than 80 youth rowers, TRRA is on the forefront of promoting you physical fitness and discipline, and in fighting childhood obesity. Since 2009, Priory Hospitality Group has helped TRRA raise more than $300,000.
Other Organizations Supported: The Priory family has regularly supported a variety of other local nonprofits, including the Ireland Institute of Pittsburgh, Urban Impact Foundation, North Side Common Ministries, Allegheny City Society, East Allegheny Community Council, Mexican War Streets Society, Avonworth Community Park, Pittsburgh Youth Symphony, and many others.
Requests for Support

Please send the form at least three months prior to the date of the event. Our staff meets and evaluates requests one time per month. Due to our relatively small size, the Mansions on Fifth Hotel can only issue a limited number of gift certificates per year.
